It’s been over a year since internationally renowned Freo locals San Cisco has put out a new track, and they’ve given us a taste of their upcoming album with poignant bop Skin.

A departure from the signature summertime numbers they’ve put out in the past, the tune heads towards a slower, pensive feeling, featuring elegant strings and mellow instrumentals.

Speaking to Triple J, frontman Jordi Davieson described the tune as, “a love song about someone dumping your sorry ass and having no power over it”.

Nonetheless, it’s a track they’re proud of – a seamless, intimate and cathartic tune.
