The last day of conference began with voting for NUS positions. As only delegates voted, the morning was left for relaxing and sleep ins. There was only one session left but before it started the results of the voting were released. Most positions were running unopposed so there wasn’t much anticipation for this part of the conference.

The following positions for WA and Curtin delegates have been filled:

Curtin Representative – Jesse Zambrano

Edith Cowen University – Elsa Huey Lynn Chew

University of Western Australia – James Dow

WA State Branch President – Elsa Huey Lynn Chew

WA State Branch Vice-President – Erin Russel (Curtin)

WA State Branch Vice-President – Roman Booth (ECU)

National Education Officer – Lincoln Aspinall (UWA)

General Executive Members – Amy Hearder (UWA)

General Executive Members – Michael Farrell (Curtin)

In the afternoon, the final session finally commenced, and all the factions were determined to go out with a bang. With a mix of LGBTI, First Nations and International, the session was mainly taken up with more shouting and hooliganism. Because of this, a lot of motions and some chapters were not discussed. By the time dinner time came around, everyone was just excited for the end of conference party. It was a great end to a very stressful and intense week where everyone could let loose.
