Perfect for couples or your band of mates staunchly choosing to not celebrate, this event runs across the 13th and 14th of February with unique acts each night.

This event is responsible B.Y.O., so you can bring your own spread or purchase your dinner from the various food trucks in the venue.

A Night on Bay View at Claremont Park

Met your partner through a mutual love of classical music? Why not head to West Australian Symphony Orchestra’s A Night on Bay View on Saturday 13th of February.

Featuring famous romantic music written for your favourite musicals, movies and operas such as West Side Story and Love Actually, the entire orchestral team will be joined on stage by opera star, Ashlyn Tomms for the rousing renditions. 

A free B.Y.O. event, the concert is an opportunity for a romantic picnic on the sprawling lawns of Claremont Park. 

Food trucks will be at the event from 6pm, and the music kicks off at 7pm.

Acapocalypse at Perth Town Hall

Well, this is the perfect chance to experience a live pitch-perfect style battle to the death as Perth’s best acapella singers riff-off against each other for Acapocalypse

Part of Perth’s Fringe Festival, ticket holders are guaranteed to laugh, cry and head-bop along as Harmonix try to out-harmonise Amplifire in an all-out vocal brawl. 

Kicking off the 12th and 13th of February at Perth Town Hall, this event is perfect for groups looking for some serious fun.

Sunday Music: Axe Girl at Fremantle Arts Centre

A well-known and loved Sunday tradition, Fremantle Arts Centre offers a rock and roll Valentine’s day afternoon with Sunday Music: Axe Girl

Full of high energy moments and powerful rhythms, Axe Girl are a joy to watch and will be sure to bring your energy up, up, and up. 

This free event runs from 2–4pm in the gorgeous front garden. A bar is located on-site and groups are encouraged to bring their own picnic essentials to keep the good times going. 

These Sunday sessions are under strict capacity limits so be sure to get down early and settle in for the afternoon.

The showcase put on by Bigship and Afrotropik Records will take the Mojos Bar venue by storm on Friday the 12th for A Lovers Rock Showcase, dedicating the night to lover’s rock and romantic reggae from the late 70s and early 80s in the UK.  

A night to truly groove out to classic tracks, this night is for those lovers who want to dance like no one is watching.
