If programming and tech is up your alley and you love tinkering with things in your spare time, then the Curtin Robotics Club may just be your calling.
Last week, the club ran an Intro to Robotics Hackathon over two days to recruit some newbies who are keen to explore robot technology.
Club President Nathan Clark said there are roughly 160 members who work on a number of projects throughout the year, such as a cocktail pouring robot.
Day two of the Hackathon was competition day, where participants built a robot that could interact with an everyday object. A personal favourite — the robot that shoots Maltesers.
