As the summer grows nearer, this week’s beat is a red-hot tune by 2019 WAMAward nominee Noah Dillon from his appropriately titled EP Everything Melts.

Don’t Act Like Like You Know Me is the second song on the EP and no exception to the singer-songwriter’s emotive storytelling.  

It’s a textured indie rock song with layers of buzzing electric guitars and pinches of folk, which paint an expressively raw soundscape.

Dillon’s blossomed in the local indie music scene since emerging in 2017, and Don’t Act Like You Know Me is a song well-suited for a good old-fashioned headbang to finish up the week.
